One of the old fashioned fiber crafts I'm teaching myself is hairpin lacemaking. This was pretty popular in the '60's and '70's with the yarn artists. I love the airy look it gives to shawls and afghans. I found this tutorial for floral hairpin lace on YouTube recently, and I think you'll enjoy it, too!
